Collaboration with Matulla
Gary has collaborated several times with Germany-based musician Matulla (Mathias Brandt).
Matulla has said of Gary, “Gary Newton is a guy of the old school, you would not only hear and see him playing at a bar in New York City but also on the streets giving his best.”
The Strangers
Matulla used Gary’s voice to train an AI to sing as Gary. The resulting songs are contained on this video playlist: Where the Wild Rivers Flow, Ravenheart, and When I Am Gone.
